Benefits of Membership
Mississippi Valley Partners is a coalition businesses and supporting members from 14 communities located from Bay City, Wisconsin to Alma, Wisconsin and from Red Wing to Winona, Minnesota along the shoreline of the Mississippi River.
The Mission of the Mississippi Valley Partners is to promote our area as a year round Tourism Destination through cooperative promotion and support of members businesses.
Membership benefits in Mississippi Valley Partners include but are not limited to the following:
- Opportunity to advertise in the Travel Planner Guide Book
- Production of 75,000 for first printing and additional printings considered dependent on distribution depletion
- Distribution throughout member businesses, MVP Tourist Information Center in Pepin Wisconsin, Travel Trade Shows attended by members and through select state Trade Shows, mail out requests through MVP Toll Free 800 number, mail outs through web site requests, mail outs through individual Tourism Bureaus, Convention and Visitors Bureaus, and Chambers of Commerce, delivered throughout Rochester, MN lodging facilities and MAYO Clinic, Tourist Information Centers and specific points of entry Mall of America, etc.
- Eligible to vote on matters concerning Mississippi Valley Partners
- Eligible to have a FREE web page on the MVP web site www.mississippi-river.org and/or a link to your personal business web site
- Networking with other MVP members at membership meetings
- Opportunity to participate in MVP sponsored events, serve on committees and Board of Directors
- Opportunity to have FREE membership. Recruitment of 2 new full payment ($150 memberships) provides a $50 deduction toward your next membership dues.
- Opportunity to distribute your business brochures to other businesses at membership meetings
- Opportunity to host membership meetings and showcase your business to fellow MVP members
Joining a group of volunteers that are interested in pooling our many resources, helping fellow businesses owners and supporters, and sharing our beautiful area with visitors that in turn provide an opportunity for economic growth, is the best reason to be a part of this wonderful organization that has been in existence for over 15 years.
